For the Community women and youth to be self reliant and be able to sustain their families, HERF provides capacity build trainings such as Shoes making, hairdressing and tailoring skills trainings, baking and juice making .The aim of these skills training is to equip the local youth and Women with skills that will help them start small businesses to be self-reliant and be able to live a productive life.According to the study, 75% of community children have no right to formal education due to high poverty and gender inequality between the boy and girl child. There is mindset that only boy children have right to education. For this, HERF opens the opportunities for girl children to attend education like boys do. We support the female children in different local primary and secondary schools. We provide adult learning also as part of education
